I hadn't followed your story on here, but I have read your posts on the matrix site. Having watched your programme and read the start of your original board I had to post to say firstly how sorry I was to hear about the nightmare you have lived through but how wonderful for you to have had such a magnificent makeover. You came across as such a lovely man and your sons are such nice boys and are so supportive of you. You all looked so delighted with your new beautiful home - the start of a better, more positive future.

I hope you have a wonderful 2011 you certainly deserve it.

Life/health getting better. I had sort of expected it to be like someone throwing a switch and everything would be better instantly. It was pointed out by a threadster who had been through a very similar situation that this isn't the case.

But it's a huge step forward, and means I can work on the other issues from the basis of a warm home with walls and ceilings and stuff. The things most of us take for granted...
