You hear older people who own their own houses saying 'now is a good time to buy before they go up again'. This is nonsense.

If you really want to sell you need to price it at 10-15% over rateable and check out the rateable value for the house you are buying and make sure you are getting it for the same or less increase over rateable..... .. At least you have more chance of getting your house sale agreed and then able to put offers on other houses, and less chance that your own sale will fall through!

Okay mine is priced right then, as I dropped it last week and still no viewers, am gonna give up:( I did say to hubby to take of market but he says 'sure next year I reckon you will get itchy feet again' but I feel now that I have finally accepted we wont sell and nothing in our price range in desired location will come onto the market:(

PM me if you're interested & for what its worth I've only had 2 viewers the whole month of June.
Like I said earlier I think that small window of opportunity that opened in March/ April has now slammed shut.
PS Presume their next excuse will be the twelfth so we can write off the month of July

Pm the link to me and I'll give you constructive criticism too. I've spent the last 2 1/2 years trawling through houses on propertynews with a view to buy, so hopefully will be able to offer some advice!!!!
