Bit of a late post but today:
It's our wedding anniversary today and we decided not not buy cards/gifts to save £ and just be extra nice lol! Hubby made me brekky, I made a lovely tea (his favourite) etc.
Romantic walk to Lidl and Frozen Food shop to do weekly shop and save a fortune on tesc* prices!
Hubby walked romantically (by himself because I was knackered by this point- baby does not like mini marathons!!) to his 2nd job to collect cash wages for extra shift- bonus!
Accounts checked, change sorted and deposited where needed,
Checked expected incomings/outgoings for the next month and altered budget.
Storecupboard meals
Not a bad day really, both feeling very shiny and proud for being so thrify on our anniversary lol!MSE-ing since 2007
