I was wondering whether anyone with expertise can say in which stream she is likely (not guaranteed, I know) to be placed - I'm a bit vague (there's a surprise to anyone that knows me) where it comes to this kind of thing. There will be three streams - express, complete with accelerated learning programme, the middle and those needing extra help. If there had been a stream labelled 'smart ar-es, comedians and outcasts', it would have been obvious where she was going, but as it is, I'm not sure because I'm too close to be unbiased.

she did well though!
Our secondary does the same as cy's with Maths setting kicking in after about 3 weeks after the CAT tests. Some subjects at ours are always taught as forms like RE and some are dependant on your others setting ie English sets are the same as drama sets. OH's wm & td have broken down and his children are going on holiday tomorrow so they've very kindly given me a black bag and a big carrier bag worth of washing. As well as my overflowing basket my poor wm will be overworked today. I just hope the rain stays away i don't want to be using the td for all that.
I'm just having a much needed coffee and then i'm going to be doing a HHC at 10.20 if anyone wants to join me?
I'm in for this one, a bit late - and who said romance was dead? :rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

And DD1 has her first meeting with the physio who runs the ME course today.....it is at the local psychiatric hospital:mad: - what sort of impression does that give?
Hope that goes well, if they try graded exercise, tell them to stuff it, it'll set her back and there is overwhelming evidence to show it causes significant harm.
I truly hope its a supportive environment for her, best of luck. xxxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Morning all
DS3 is not well today. I took him in first thing as it was his class assembly but then I brought him home again when it finished. He is now on the sofa.
Enforced day at home so a bit of a change of plan but I intend to get loads of flying done.
Cats are bored of the weather now and keep coming in and meowing furiously and then flopping down.
