Maybe im wrong but i thought jonesMUFCforever was refering to the topic has already been covered0 -
That's precisely what he was referring to and I was too. It's covered constantly. 3,265 times might be a exaggeration, but only a small one!0

It is a totally illegal act and they should clearly be prosecuted for it.
I'd suggest dialling 999 to ensure that you get emergency attention. Or if you're a freemason bring the subject up at the next lodge meeting. I'm sure it will be quickly followed up.The money was not just earmarked, it was taken. It is even dated the 28th on my online account.??
Seriously, it's normal, it's legal and it's fair.0 -
Its just showing because it was an auto payment. It will be treated as if it left Monday as it did.0

Natwest do it all the time, i had about 5 DD due today and yes all the money had left my account on Saturday, but online banking had Mondays date next to them all.
Just something you get used too, works both ways though, if i am due to paid on a Monday as i am paid monthly, its available on the Saturday before.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
When I worked for Natwest I used to hate working Saturdays for this sole reason. People ringing up asking about it and then accusing me of "stealing their money"
Your bank updates overnight to reflect the next working day. The next working day after a Friday is a Monday, therefore any credits/debits due on the Monday will show over the weekend.Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
When I worked for NWB, I used to explain it as the computer system didn't recognise weekends and thought it was Monday lol. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0
