Same here-just delivered this am and one glass broken.I have emailed and will let you know the response.Am not totally convinced they are genuine Royal Doulton but they are nice enough at the price.0

Sounds to me like they want to just replace the 1 single glass that is broken, I have emailed back and asked them to confirm if they are sending a single glass or a whole new set.
Anybody else think that it is strange that it only seems to be 1 glass in the box that is broken?
My package was wrapped up very well, with lots of airbags, makes me think that the glass was already broken before put in the box :eek:0 -

I've emailed them too about my one broken glass - I don't mind if they just replace the one glass for me so I have a full set tbh.
My package was well wrapped ironically from the outside i.e. the box the actual glasswear was in had no protection and they were all rattling around in it - not really surprised there was a breakage.
I doubt very much my glass was broken before it went in to the box as it really was smashed everywhere.0 -
received mine just now in a battered box almost half open u can see inside but amazingly, no broken glass. so thats good. remind me how much we paid for it?? on hindsight, glasses appears to be funny. it looks odd actually. and thats from someone who doesnt drink alcohol. i think these maybe high class factory rejects. but then again, thats only my opinion and i am thankful that it arrived in one piece!i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble :whistle:0

When she told me that they would replace them I presumed she meant the whole set, which was the reason why I didn't mention that the other set had a chipped glass. I was going to make a good set out of all the glasses as one gift and the new set they would send would be the other (if that makes sense?).
Now if they only send a single replace ment, I'll still have a chipped glass. Oh well not to worry

i would email them back them back and tell them u have only just noticed the chip on the other glass

Sorry to hear so many of you have received broken glasses. If you dont want to send back for replacment for one because of all the hassle it might be then maybe you could still email and as for some kind of reimbursement? Surely they'd appreciate that you're saving them hassle too and give you some money back. Worth a try!0 -
Spoken with customer services and they was unable to offer 3 replacement glasses, They tried to to refund me £4 for the broken glasses, what a cheek!. Told them I will send the whole pack back for a full refund thanks, she said only to send the decanter back because of the health & saftey issues with the glasses. She stated I would still get a full refund, lets hope so.0

the response to my one broken glass was:We are so sorry to see that the item had been damaged in transit, we would be happy to offer you a discount of 1/7 of cost you paid, therefore this would be a refund for the amount of £1.85 and add a £5 E-voucher to your account.
Please can you kindly confirm if you would like us to do this, alternatively you may return the intact items to us for a full refund.
guess that would reduce the price I paid to £4.15 if I buy something else from them.0
