Also I'm not going to be applying for anything else even if I get declined so make not much difference!0

I have a Natwest current account with no overdraft facility ditto Co-op and HSBC all with Visa debit card. I have adverse credit as I have a default registered in 2007 by EGG which Im paying at £250 per month and ends next year. Nothing else on my credit file. No loans, a mortgage of 50% LTV. A Cap 1 card which I have had for 7 years never missed a payment but do only make minimum monthly direct debit. That has a credit limit of £900 and has never been increased (I did do a charges and PPI claim on it 4 years ago) I was accepted for a Vanquis card 3 weeks ago with a limit of £500. Is it worth me applying for a Sygma card and if so which 1? I dont want the credit its just that Im going on a holiday to the US in Dec and a couple of cards would be useful for that so intend to pay any purchases in full at the end of the stat paymen period. I earn 50k per year. I am on the electoral roll for current property (been here for over 4 years) and all previous addresses.
Its weird as my OH has 5 defaults but can still get overdraft etc
Any advice would be welcome0 -

You could try for a Sygma card. I'd personally apply for the silver card. Reason being, is I'm guessing it has a slightly lower pass mark on the credit score than the Creation card (as the Creation card has 15 months 0% and Silver has 6 months).
They may decline you until the default is satisfied however.
I presume you have the capital one classic at 34.9%? If this is so, you may want to consider closing the account and then applying for the Capital One Progress - this starts at 34.9% but decreases as long as you keep to the terms of the account, you can check it out on their website.

Here we go!
Food came out alright. I made two pots in the end. One with mince, kidney beans, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, finger chillies, and garlic. The other with mince, onions, tomatoes, red and yellow peppers, finger chillies, and garlic.
Both are very nom!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
