If you get a straight decline and re-apply before the end of the 6 months then extremely likely that you'll fail again based on criteria, if you are already a customer then you can apply for another product every 3 months, you may also apply every months but there will be high chances of decline or very small credit limit.

Within a month of me being referred for DAYS card (subsequent acceptance) i was referred for Myworld and then accepted for that. Both within a month.

Even after a Decline(straight or after a referral) a Duplicate flag is entered when ever you apply for another product with them within 6 months.

You may have referred for the Days card but you got accepted which is different, then referred again for the Myworld but you were already a customer so the 6 months do not apply

Before this i was declined after a referral for both Flybe and myworld cards then learnt about the Duplicate app flag.


Mind i was only accepted for both DAYS and Myworld AFTER ringing the U/w team.

May I ask what is the argument with the underwriters so that the accept you? What do they ask for?

I applied 5 months ago and was declined. Will re-apply in one month and if necessary will ring the underwriters.

I currently have an Aqua card with 250 limit (for 9 months) and a Capital One Classic with 400 limit (5 months). Hope this is enough for them.
