Do Natwest have their own version CPD marker? And how do you find out you have one?

natwest/rbs have a 'z' marker and a risk band policy which goes from 1-10, 1 being brilliant and 10 being awful. anyone with a 'z' marker will not be able to obtain further credit facilities unless someone in the lending team can remove the 'z' and anyone with a risk band higher than a 8 will struggle to find themselves getting pre approved for higher overdrafts, loans, credit cards and mortgage

If you have a "Z" marker on your account you wont get offered anything.

You need to have a risk bank of between 1-7 to get any offers.

The bank as a rule are not meant to tell you your risk band however if you ask someone might tell you.

if you ever get invited to a review with an adviser (Or even ring up and ask for one) , they often use a system called back office which is where they can check what offers you've got. if you can position yourself with a view of the screen you'll be able to see!!!!

The next time you ring action line between 8am-8pm just ask as a general question as some advisors will tell you. :D
