Oh I actually hate Natwest, they've cancelled my debit card, silly clowns. Good job I got my PIN for the Halifax one! I don't know why it's cancelled, the machine didn't retain it which surprised me, it just gave me a stupid bit of paper saying take this to your branch the card has been cancelled (I was in a branch but didn't fancy waiting in their epic queue so I'll sort it out when I get back from Spain)

I am trying to take advantage of the current Santander offer of £100 if you switch accounts, does anyone know what their credit scroing is like, i.e easy/medium/hard?

    thanks
Alliance took me for the Premier U21 account - I don't know if it's relaxed scoring as it's U21, but my credit file was well bad when I applied (I'd applied for everything else under the sun) - I never realised it was a full account or I wouldn't have bothered!

So for me A&L were very easy, but it's Prem U21 so don't know what difference that makes - plus with the merger it could mix everything up again....

I've got an A&L current account so should be relatively easy.

Do you have another current account and what?

Oh and I had 2 Natwest current accounts when I was approved for A&L too, as well as searches for about every product under the sun :)

Had to pop my car in to the garage today to get the brake pads replaced. They said £22 for the pads, which I thought was reasonable and was quite pleased that it was going to be rather cheap.

When I went to pick up the car, they said "oh and the labour charge will be £70 for an hour and a halfs work". Almost £100 on a few little pads, my jaw dropped.

Oh no, the car is fine. It's just that all of the maintenance costs come at the same time. MOT is due next month so wanted to get the pads replaced before hand, then I can relax for another year. :D

There was a whole host of evilness aimed at Seeya and the person who did it tried to implicate N-I-D. It was horrific to be honest, and many people are disappointed in forum moderation response time as a result. That's all I care to say about that. If Seeya wants to elaborate or N-I-D then it's up to them.

    :(:(:(:(
