How long you really need to wait between applications with AQUA & CAPITAL ONE if they have declined you once, is it 6months?

    Thanks

Capital One is 6 months, but as for Aqua who knows. I've applied 3 times in the last 6 months. I finally got accepted on the 3rd attempt. I think someone said every 3 months, but I'm unsure.

    Hello Campers

I've returned from my Hols to find out I've been accepted for an Aqua card!!!! It got referred about 2 weeks ago.

How long do I have to wait for the card to come from posting the CCA off?

Well done .Received my card exactly ten days after I posted the CCA off.

    Application Verification Unit

Are Ulsterbank applications sent to the same AVU as RBS/Natwest or are they processed seperately ?

I know RBS/Natwest are effectively the same, but how closely linked is the UB in the group ?

    Anyone know ?

7-10 days from when you send cca back well done:T:T

Well, I re addressed the envelope and stuck a 1st class stamp on it, so hopefully that'll cut a few days of it. Not that I'm desperate, just impatient :o

Why would they be prehistoric if they are the newest credit reference agency :p

Their affordability tool appears to be a selling point too

I mean the way they operate is prehistoric in that nobody needs nor searches for 24mth searches lol, so why do it? Lenders don't have capabilities for a 24mth search so why have it?

Thats what I mean haha - sorry ok prehistoric is the wrong word ok ok I messed up lol :beer:

So for example, if you owed RBS money and opened an account with Natwest they'd decline the Natwest account?

And a question about Aqua. Is the limit the 3 numbers at the bottom right hand corner of the page? Or can the limit be different?

I've fond it to be the limit at the bottom of the don't mark below line. Same with all Halifax cards AFAIK - someone in the Clarity thread saw "6500" or similar printed on their credit agreement and that's what they had so it seems to apply to Aqua / Halifax / BOS / Et al FWIW :o
