  • Anyone on who has had a CapOne card for a while? My credit limit was raised last month (4/5 months in) - is the 4-5 month raise/possibility of a raise something that is repeated, or is it typically a one-off?

That's :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You could max it and return it all when it arrives :p

That'll demonstrate ability to spend and repay in a way I've never known of before!

Phone up and say you like your new credit limit but you think it is slightly too high and you would like £50 knocked off and see what they say :rotfl:

I'm on Cap1, just had Statement 10 and no 2nd increase still. The increase after 4 months is standard. Based on past experience people could be on that for several years and never get another increase, however there was talk of them now randomly upping people's limits so you never know. I'm on one of these cards where the rate decreases (no idea what it's called). I have had one after 6 months, I'm due another one in October I believe.... I'm hoping the rate decrease will trigger a review and possible limit change, otherwise it could be time to wave goodbye to Capital One....

Just received an email from Very saying I've got £751786058 available to spend!

It's a good thing it doesn't show that way in your account, otherwise after being reported to CRAs... You wouldn't be getting any more new credit because of available credit :p
    Enjoy the silence...
