Yes i have to send the item back via tracked delivery and then it should go in my favor

Like Cyberbob says make sure you send it Special Delivery instead of Recorded Delivery, this is very important.
Really hope you get your money back, I hate dishonest thieving people, I believe in karma so they will get what is coming to them!My daughters are my world0 -
May I suggest that you visit your local police station to get a crime report (fraud) and then contact Visa to see if they can help. I think (purely from memory) that Paypal and Ebay protection does not cover concert tickets, so visa could be your last hope.0

It was visa debit not visa credit so they(visa) won't be able to do anything. My daughters are my world0 -
Visa debit have a self imposed section 75 style protection scheme.emerald_starcat wrote: »It was visa debit not visa credit so they(visa) won't be able to do anything.
I'd say it would be better used only if the paypal chargeback fails though.
I can't remember but I think that they changed the paypal protection to include all physical goods. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

it makes no difference if they have withdrawn the money or not. If paypal rule in your favour you will be refunded then paypal will chase the seller for the cash.
I have heard of cases of Pay Pal finding in favour of the buyer however then stating they are unable to retrieve the money. Of course l hope this don't happen to the OP.
OP, as already suggested you should make a report to the police asap as it may be the only route available to you.
I was once scammed (smaller amount) and just spending a couple of hours on the internet l was able to find out alot about the seller just by using things as the username. personal details etc came to light, bank account info the lot. Shall we just say she was suprised when she received a letter from me advising of the details l had along with a follow up phone call advising of police complaint. I received a cheque approx. 48 hours later.0 -
Not anymore. Tickets are exempt seller protection and thus buyer protection.0

Make sure you send it SPECIAL DELIVERY!!
Even though it's just a piece of paper, this is the only way it'll show online tracking to give you your refund. Recorded alone isn't good enough, and isn't valid for sending "tickets".Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Hi,
Paypal are very quick at putting funds in a temporary account for up to 21 days if the seller is selling a risk item,or has little selling history. Tickets do fall into this category.
Give neg feedback straight away, this will go in your favour. The temporary hold account recognises if positive feedback is left and releases funds straight away. So leaving a neg will boost your claim.
I know it's hindsight, but, always ask for proof of purchase for tickets. Seatwave only pay the seller once the concert has taken place and the buyer has made no complaints. They also show if they have received proof of purchase.
Good luck with your claim. A police reference number would also help!0 -
