Makes me sick how people take hard earned money and by the time the dispute is opened they have either spent it or withdrawed it to there bank account0

this makes me think....
£500 is not little money. If a refund is granted PayPal will have to reimburse the buyer by its own pocket as it is clear that whoever commit such a premediatated fraud has now the money somewhere safe.
You reckon PayPal has an hidden agenda so that they tend to favour the seller so they don't have to fork out £500? Not in 100% of the cases but, you know... sometimes... just to limit the damage. With the debt collection agency they are not gonna get a penny back that's for sure.*_*_* Department of Redundancy Department *_*_*0 -

it makes no difference if they have withdrawn the money or not. If paypal rule in your favour you will be refunded then paypal will chase the seller for the cash.
As long as you have opened the correct sort of case you should be fine.
I assume they sent the item tracked so if you opened an item not as described. You will have to retyurn what they sent you tracked. Once they receive it and the tracking shows it you will be refunded. Even though it's only a couple of bits of paper return it Special delivery. As recorded delivery tracking fails a lot of the time. If it does you will lose the money.
As Arriva said paypal will side with the buyer most of the time.
Remember buyers can only get positives so Their feedback isn't a good guide for a new seller.0 -
Yea so i brought a pair of tickets of ebay for bestival 2010 paid £250 per ticket and the package arrived today with 2 peices of paper saying bestival on them :mad::mad::mad: Seller had good feedback too but after closer inspection he has only sold a few small items and brought stuff for which he has positives :mad: I feel like punching my computer but i wont  Paypal better go in my favor or i will scream. VENT OVER!

I'm presuming you opened an "item not as described" dispute? Have you phoned ebay to talk to someone? It can often be better to chat to someone rather than relying on some hungover muppet sorting it via email!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Yes i have to send the item back via tracked delivery and then it should go in my favor

I don't understand the logic of paypal insisting a sheet of paper must be sent back tracked to the seller. It's not as if the seller's going to really need it.0

I really feel sorry for you. I've only started to buy over the internet and my first few experiences weren't good either.
How can you tell whether the seller is legit or not? and how can you get your money back?0
