Poll: House Price Prediction for Xmas 2010
Comments
-
I had to vote 'other' as 50% down by xmas 2009 wasn't an option.0
-
"Round my way" house prices will be down 70% by Christmas 2009 - so Jonny Davies and all my clown friends on HPC say0
-
Assuming you are talking about from this point to the end of the year. I think -2.5% to +2.5%. Stagnation. So voted for 0.0

Up by 100%. If people don't buy now, they're idiots.
And please ignore the way the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee is beginning to crack in regard to the setting of interest rates because of course there'll never be any increase in interest rates and cheap mortgages are going to last forever and ever.0 -
5% up is my prediction.0

I'm actually really surprised by the spread of votes on here. fromt he postings, I get the impression there are more bulls than any others on this forum, but only 5 votes for a rise at present.0

Really?
I get the impression this forum is infested with bears.
Of course, it may well only be a few bears, plus all their sockpuppets.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

That's what you get from poll's an incomplete section of the census.
Not everyone has voted.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Prices seem quite flat where I live, there are a lot of new builds going up at the moment it will be interesting to see if these sell?, the asking prices are similar to 2007 prices!
Most of the other properties for sale seem to be down about 15% on the asking prices of a few years ago.0
