T mobile and android web allowance

its not only direct from what i heard the 3gb is the norm for android phones and has been going on from years but the 1gb is becasue the resellers are registering a diff imei for example a n900 instead of a desire

Hi as you may not know t mobile now only give you the 3gb allowance of net if you buy directly from them on a new contract upgrades are unaffected and can be purchased from anywhere as it automatically puts you on it on upgrade Furthermore this new contract change can be seen in their new t&c! So 1gb for resellers on new contract 3gb for direct t mobile! Hope that clears things up

I have just read their website T & c's and can not see where it claims you will not get 3gb if you buy through resellers?

I see it states "You'll get internet on your phone Plus included if you join us on a pay monthly plan with an Android phone in a T-Mobile store, over the phone or via our website, t-mobile.co.uk"

But I wonder how they will know and you could argue that it does not clearly state you will only receive 1gb through resellers as nowhere in their terms does it state that...

Well I shall find out when I get my phone.

Well I shall find out when I get my phone.

And if you wanted to be really awkward you could argue that you bought it over the phone from a reseller, they dont state it has to be over the phone from t-mobile, just that you have to join them over the phone :rotfl:
For a large company they dont half leave their T&C open to abuse,its like they got the teaboy to write them

agreed they wont know where you bought the phone ive got a reciept for my previous phone from t mobile even though i bought the phone from dialaphone on t mobile! t mobile didnt actully sell that model on their network!!!!!
