Claire - if you work out the cost of the materials (beads, wire etc) and then add a decent hourly rate you would price yourself out of the market. You need to price things sensibly - don't underprice your things as people will then think they are 'cheap'. Think of all the brand names out there; people are willing to pay a bit more for a 'name', even though it might be just the same quality as the shop next door.
Have you tried a theme for your jewellery? Goth, prom, princess, semi precious.....?
Just an idea?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
I do sell semi precious stoned jewellery, but they are a bit more expensive cause the beads are more expensive.
BB I do have a few pandora bits here, there was one on my table i'd priced t £9 with 2 spacers and 3 beads on, a lady couldn't berlieve how cheap it was but still never bought itBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Do you think it was too cheap then Claire. If you don't put a decent value on your jewellery, then no-one else is going to.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

perhaps it just wasn't 'her' (people are funny boogers, I used to have a table on a market with stuff on!!). I treated myself to a cheap Pandora copy bracelet week or so ago and have spent ages clicking through beads/spacers etc on ebay looking for the right ones to buy bit by bit. Have you thought about selling separate beads?
Do you sell on ebay? If you do, what are sales like? Do you use etsy? (think it's called that!)
Is there anyone you can share the cost of a table/stall with?"Stay Wonky":D

I find ebay fees are costing more than the actual amount of jewellery selling,
i've got a few bits on misi but have never sold on thereBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
now, I would pay the price for this bracelet which is around £19 I guess?

how much would something like that cost to make?? Is she making a stonking profit??
Remember a lot of people often associate price with quality - stick a few more quid on each piece"Stay Wonky":D

If people are buying from you as a gift for someone Claire, they will want to think they are giving something decent. People associate price with quality so stick a couple of quid plus on each piece for the next fair you do and see if there's any difference.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
