TalkTalk, Tiscali, MAC codes and LLU circuits

perhaps orange is one of the ISPs that is trialling LLU MAC codes, i've given up hope of ever getting one from tiscali, they will not budge and refuse to admit that they even exist... i can't force them to do anything they don't want to do and it all serves to remind me how, as consumers, we have very little power over these huge faceless companies.
at least i still got broadband (even if i am, essentially, paying for it twice), i won't be cancelling until they've made the migration process easier.
still waiting for the talk talk high level complaints team to call me back... they said they'd take five days, i'm not holding my breath.
i'm not sure what you should do about your broadband, now that it's cancelled i suppose you'll just have to wait for the tags to be taken off your line and then get your new supplier to set you up... it's meant to take about 30 days in total... but that is proabably only if your'e lucky0 -
Orange are not trialling LLU MAC codes just making it very awkward for people wanting them like other ISP's who have LLU in exchanges personally with my experience of Orange ide never sign up to a big ISP again the smaller ones with a good free Customer and tech care and good reputation (usually offer 1 month contracts (you generally pay a bit more but worth it) thats a sign they aren't too bad and wanting to lock you in a 12 or 18 month one if you don't already know these 2 sites try them and do some research before you commit again DSL ZoneUK and ISP Review UK
Good Luck
