I'm assuming that she bought them as she takes a size 6 & they're too small, therefore she could open a SNAD as in her opinion they are too small so can't realistically be a 6.
I had someone buy a top a little while ago that didn't fit her, I offered to refund the cost of the top if she returned it. She didn't bother, probably as it was a cheap top. If you offer a refund for the shoes, she may choose to not bother.

When blokes buy clothes/shoes, they just pick the correct size off the shelf, and buy it, regardless of which shop/brand it is.

With women's clothes, every brand and shop has a different fit. I'm size 7 shoe in some brands, and 8 in others. I wouldn't have a clue with brands I'm not familiar with.

It's quite likely that she does indeed wear a size 6, yet these don't fit her.

(which is why I'd never buy shoes on ebay!!!).

Perhaps reply saying the shoes are definitely size 6, say size 6 on them, have been worn by your wife (who is a size 6), but offer her a refund minus her postage if she wants to return them, or suggest she sells them on.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
