Can we all agree that, given LBS's habit of clamping without the authority of any landowner [leaving no-one else to sue], and of ignoring CCJs, angle-grinders are currently the only solution to an LBS clamping?
Do be aware of the potential for LBS to call the Police to tell them you are causing criminal damage to the clamp though. Also remember that Police officers are normally dim-wits who don't have the slightest clues about the inns and outs of the laws relating to car clamping, and even if you try to tell them they won't listen.

If you grind the clamp off be as quick and discrete as possible. Maybe try have a friend or two handy to hold off the heavies to let you do your grinding.

I don't think the people who own LBS are particularly nice people, as shown by a couple of comments to this article about the company. One of their supporters (southendmechanic) seems to be implying that the "lads will be sent round" to one of their critics who has actually won a court case against them. Look at the "10:16pm Tue 6 Jul 10" comment to see what I mean.

The Southend Echo has run yet another story about LBS, This time about LBS threatening to block the driveways of two local MPs who have criticised the company. Some of the comments from LBS's employees are hilarious. My favourite is this :-

I personally am proud to work for one of the most proffesional (sic) and efficient enforcement agencies In the southeast.

Poor deluded fool, thinking he works for some sort of official agency.

Except that if they are a registered company only the assets of the company (and not that of the directors) can be seized by bailiffs.

So it's not worth sending a NBA to the Director's Home Address?

More like Pay Up Pompey (or the Banks will put you out of business...). :p  There are better clubs on the South Coast!

But back on topic, LBS aren't even from Portsmouth, the only mention of that place on Watchdog today was when they mentioned those two Portsmouth clampers who got jailed for blackmail 3 years ago (different clamping company, not LBS who are based in Essex).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
