Just need to give Orange my PAC and then tell mobiles.co.uk my old number and then .... remember to claim the redemption :D

Don't forget to get confirmation from mobiles.co.uk that they have updated your account when you inform them of your ported number - and keep the confirmation safe.

    Will do.

Bit of a concern that Orange think I only have 10 minutes of my anytime 300 left - hopefully that's just a glitch with the online system !!

Won't that be due to pro rata billing till it falls in line with the cycle ???

Don't know - possibly. At the moment it's not that big a worry. I don't even have any documentation from Orange yet.

You will find with orange that it is pro rata. Ring them and ask. You can ask them when your full amount starts again.

Dont forget to check if there are any extras set up on your orange account and cancel them if you dont need them.

Also dont forget to cancel any insurance that you dont want as these tend to be set up automatically when you take out one of these contracts.

Sort yourself a list for when you have to claim back the cashbacks.

    Good luck.

    :D
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!

Checked Orange's automated remaining minutes service and it is now up to the full 300 :D

Will be cancelling the two add-ons that came with the mobiles.co.uk deal and checking Orange have all the right details when I am able to get full access to my details on their site.

    mobilejunkie: what is TMTI ?

Also, been ages since I last changed me phone ... how much longer (after the phone arrives) does documentation from Orange/mobiles.co.uk take to turn up ?

Talk Me Through It - also known as the gadget helpline. CPW companies often sign you up to it automatically along with the insurance, 1st 30 days free. If they did you should have received an email from them - check your junk box if it hasn't gone from there in the meantime, or contact TMTI to check your postcode has nothing set up.

mobilejunkie, I thought that's what it was. I just don't remember it being called that before. It is made obvious, on mobiles.co.uk site when ordering, that 2 services are 'added' (each with 1 month free) - just didn't recall either of them being referred to as TMTI.

Having now read one of the first emails I got, TMTI is mentioned along with the URLs for their website in order to cancel :)
