    Oh jings, two days without an update, a terrible state of affairs for me :rotfl:

    Money is essentially the same, although I should be receiving a £20 refund from a betting website from a free bet offer they had at the start of the World Cup. Sodding Brazil went out, meaning that I didn't win the £150 I was due if they had lifted the cup, nor the money I would have won in the office sweepstakes :( It does prove that betting is a mugs game though, so a lesson learned I suppose.

    Competition wins have been quite good of late. I won a rucksack last week which has already arrived and should be quite smart for work if I can keep the cats away from it. I received a £15 JJB card in the post today, which may well go towards a pair of Easytone trainers (or similar) and also won a Blu Ray player this week :j I though I might be able to punt it on Ebay etc for £100 but googled it and it's worth nearly four hundred quid :eek: I'm considering if I want to keep it or use it to demolish the debts.

    Aside from that, life is pretty quiet Chez Fresian. I am still doing overtime every week, but have developed a bit of a cold so might not do it tomorrow morning. I do know that I have 17 hours of overtime due in my wages this month :j I suspect I will treat myself to something, I'm just not sure what!

    You need to remember the sheer volume of the damn things that I enter though :D

    On the plus side, Twitter seems to be a good avenue for them at the moment, as does Facebook, as not as many compers use them. I won a WKD keyring/bottle opener tonight on an instant win comp on FB tonight too since I posted :rotfl:

    I think it's because I normally post first thing in the morning, so it's been two and a half days. I'm going to get kicked out of DFW once I'm debt-free though :( I am going to have to move elsewhere for my MSE witterings.....*oh no*

    Nooooooo, you won't get kicked out of the DFW board - you need to stay on here even when you are debt free - I am debt free now but this is where I prefer to come and get motivated to stay that way, so I vote for Fresian to stay on this board when she is debt free - anyone second that?!

    So, another update from me....both good and bad!

    I bought myself a necklace yesterday as it had 30% off and is one I have coveted for a while. The 30% off negated the normal shipping price, so bargain thought I!

    Then today I tripped and fell into the Accessorize sale, buying this little beauty - only £3.50 :D

    rainbow.jpg

    I was feeling proud of myself - only a week till payday thought I and £40 left, wahoo!

    Except...

    It's two sodding weeks till payday, bah!

    So, bearing in mind that there was still money in the groceries account (Although £10 less than yesterday thanks to the cost of cold remedies, humbug....) I dragged Mr Fresian to Tesco to stock the larder. I managed to spend £41, but we now have:

    • Enough catfood till the end of the month
    • Breaded fish (Freezer emergency food) which was 57p each instead of £2.28 :D
    • Peppered beef steaks (for dinner tomorrow) which were £1 instead of £4 :D
    • A new novel for me to read (I did replace this money from my spends account though) :o
    So, the money situation is now like this:

    PAD = £34.50 (Which sounds good, but all my spending money comes from this account too, eek!)
    Groceries = £42.27
    Entertainment = £22.05 (Night out on Saturday coming up too...)
    Purse = 23p :doh:

    Methinks that Frugal Fresian will have to rise again....!
