I was recommending the Joy of Quidco to a new DFW today (shameful how this replaces the Joy Of Sex for us seasoned DFWs :rotfl:) and when I was signing in to get a referral link for her I realised that I hadn't compared my energy suppliers. Ever. I just didn't want the hassle.
Luckily I'm online with Scottish Power, so could actually input my annual consumption and so on, and it turns out I could save almost £40 per month if I change. And get £150 cashback. Why oh why haven't I done this before????
The offer for £150 cashback is gone and it's "only" £50 now
Should I do it anyway, knowing that I will be better off monthly as things stand, or should I wait and see if a better deal comes up?

:money:was on TV the other week saying the best deals are disappearing fast as prices will start going up again. Is it a fixed rate deal too?0

The fact I only get £50 cashback for the tariff I want is annoying me thoughI could get £70 with Topcashback, but I've not really used them before. Does anyone have any experience of using them?

Hi FF
I use Topcashback, everything has tracked and paid, (although like Quidco it can take a while until goes to paid status) and there is no yearly fee.

I don't use them, but I'm going to join. From what I've heard (or should that be 'herd' on your thread), they seem as good as Quidco, just without the joining fee.
Best of luck. I'd say it's worth a bash. Please call me 'Pickle'

I'd go for it F_F... even if the cashback doesn't come through, you'll be £40 odd a month better off anyway

Sometimes it's really good having Tesco near work, other times it's just expensive. Today I went to Tesco to get lunch, some peppers, onions and mushrooms. Total spent = £11.82
For this I got:
Cheese - £1.99 (Half price)
Onions - £1
Ham - £1
Ham - 63p (Reduced, and little slices for lunch)
Mushrooms - 93p
Water - 47p (But now I have a bottle of it I can refill from the filter at work!)
Peppers - £1.35 (Big bag of value ones)
Roll - 30p (Lunch)
Mince - £2.01 (Should have been £3. For the freezer. Which I still haven't inventoried. B*gger)
Pineapple chunks - £1.25 (Reduced from £2 and will keep me healthy snacking for the rest of the afternoon)
Bread - 89p (Reduced from £1.24)
I suppose it's not too bad, but I am getting very lazy about making my own lunch again so my new challenge will be to make my own lunch for the rest of the week. I am making bolognaise for dinner tonight, so I will have some of that for tomorrow's lunch and do something else for the rest of the week.
