Plans for the day
- [strike]Tidy kitchen
- Tidy living room[/strike]
- Tidy bedroom (ongoing project due to sheer chaos) Not done enough to use the Strikethrough text option, but there's more floor visible
- [strike]Washing
- Wrap and post Ebay items[/strike]
Money
PAD/Spends = £110.50
Entertainment = £19.91
Groceries = £67.54
Purse = 76p
Outstanding debt = £1479.17
There are 21 days until payday. :eek:
I'm quite enjoying posting the outstanding debt every day, partly because I can see how I'm impacting it when I'm spending my money on rubbish and partly because it's really satisfying seeing it coming down every day! I'd like to be closer to £1350 by the time payday arrives, and with my £50 Ebay money it should be achievable.
It's August now, so the Fringe starts this weekend (Woo!) I have quite a good weekend on the cards as I won entry to the Edinburgh Antiques and Collectibles event - with £100 to spendI'm going to try and buy myself a really nice piece of vintage jewellery. I also have a few shows to see from Sunday onwards, so will report back as to how they are.
I still have a lot of housework to do this week, mainly sorting the carnage that is our bedroom. I seem to be leading by example with The Flatmates as I have been tidying round them and the message finally seems to be sinking in, as I woke up this morning and the living room and kitchen were spotless :rotfl:
No other plans are on the cards for today apart from starting the new job :eek: I'm ready though and have all the things I should need. I hope. Aargh for nerves....

Best of luck for your first day. I trust you are wearing one of your new outfits!
Are you based in the same location so will have the safety of an "important message that must be delivered by hand" if you need to get out and have a few minutes break with a friendly face
Too true about the farmers markets, we have access to free fruit and veg and salad but its very often class 2, just looking at budgets to see about better quality food and more organicy type husehold products.0 -

My "to do" list looks thusly for this evening:
- Do washing and remember to hang it up
- Go to Aldi (Not done, too tired)
- Tidy desk & floor in my bedroom
- Message all Ebay buyers to confirm items posted
- Wrap Ebay item to post tomorrow
- Mention possible renting opportunity to flatmate with a view to getting her out of my house :rotfl:
I have a large "to do" list for tomorrow as well, but I'm going to see how I get on with tonight's tasks first.
Before I do any of this though.....University Challenge

Ooh, forgot to add....
I was selling a dress and nobody bought it, but someone contacted me after the auction ended saying they had missed the end and would I consider selling it to them. Another £11.87 is winging it's way to the debt fund (after Paypal fees etc) Hurrah!
