The joy of free listing is that you can whack any old tat online and see it it will sell :D

I got an email about a free listing day on Ebay this weekend so am going to start selling some stuff again. The joy of free listing is that you can whack any old tat online and see it it will sell :D
Hmmmmm... I have no excuses then... I'm challenging myself to list stuff for the first time ever! I'm rather scared but I need the ££s as I've spent a fortune this month!

Now... where on earth is my camera?

    Yesterday

    95p - Tea
    £4.99 - Burger King :o
    £19.80 - Chinese :o:o

In my defence for the Chinese, I got back from the pub (Cost me nothing, had one drink and someone else paid) to find that the sodding oven is broken. Until it can be fixed it's hob-food and I had been planning on throwing a pizza in the oven - there was no other edible food in the house!

    Today

£2.96 - Breakfast (Saturday treat with friend, we always have breakfast somewhere if we're off to the supermarket together)
    £20.27 - catfood/litter from Costco
    £24.79 - mince & chicken from Costco
    £1.50 - travel toothbrush/mouthwash
£2.38 - drinks for the car
    £5.00 - travel set (mini-bottles etc)
£1.49 - book about cats, Christmas stash
£0.69 - three albums and a book (Used £12 Amazon voucher from Toluna)

I do also have £20 going back into my account as I returned a dress I didn't need that I bought on impulse last time I was in Glasgow.

    Current state of finances

    PAD/Spends = £122.99
    Groceries = £123.44
    Entertainment = £53.40
    Purse = £38.61

I'm going to try to spend cash only this week and see how it goes. £38 should be plenty!

The reason for buying the travel goodies is that with the new job I'm going to be away from home a reasonable amount and did need to get mini-bottles for shampoo etc. I found a set in the M&S outlet that has 3 good-sized bottles, funnels (for transferring liquid into the bottles) a shower puff and a couple of smaller tubs for moisturiser etc. It will be really handy. Honest :D

Mr Fresian is away for a week now, he's off up north to do some work for his mum. Paid work :j

It's going to be quiet here without him, but will be good for him to get out and about and making some cash.

I have done nothing about Ebay today, but am going to take photos of things tomorrow and list in the afternoon once I've been to the shops for the required groceries for next week. As it's just me I don't need very much which is good!

    Thursday...

Bread £0.79 (went shopping with DD and she picked the cheapest loaf :D)
    Tesco weetabix x 2 £2.56
    Lettuce £0.85
    Bananas £1.20
    Milk £2.11
    Dairylea 2.03   :eek:Tomatoes £0.88
Ham 2 x balue ham (no, not a typo...DD knows 'balue' stuff already :o)
    Laughing cow triangles £1.88
    caramel wafers £1.40
    Tesco skips (soooo tasty!) £0.95
    Cucumber £0.75

    Today...

    Bread £1.20
    Cheese £3.00
    Mug Shots x 5 £2.00
    Teabags £0.83
    Milk (for sister) £0.86

I really think that this spending diary is helping me realise where most of my cash is going, on bread, milk and cheese!!

I have to buy so much bread as DD has started eating sandwiches (:j) but she likes them cut into shapes so I end up using 6 bits of bread for her lunch but DS gets fed the rest of the sandwiches so there's little waste :money:

OH also eats alot of bread...think I might switch to value stuff

The cheese is for OH and dairylea is for the weans. (The laughing cow is for me :D)

The Tesco skips were an impulse buy and I shouldn't have bought them!

I still need to get petrol as the car is on the red light but I'll make it last until Tuesday.

I've got about £350.00 in savings that I want to transfer over to my cc but I really need some new clothes, I'm quite literally down to rags and it's getting embaressing, as is my hair which is in desperate need of a cut.

I get quite a lot of clothes either in the sales (Loads of those on at the moment) or in charity shops/Ebay. Are you ok with second hand clothes?

Are you ok with second hand clothes?

Yeah I don't mind, the problem is tryin to find them! The charity shop here is quite pricey for a charity shop :o and is just full of old woman's clothes!

I was looking on ebay yesterday and seen some really nice cropped jeans but I've never bought myself anything out of Next so I don't know what the sizes are like so I didn't buy them!

I find it quite difficult to find clothes anyway, I prefer wide legged jeans and only ever seem to find bootcut or... skinny jeans *shudder*

Inverness isn't all that great for shopping and Primarni is hit or miss...I usually miss!! I've seen alot of nice clothes that people have bought from there but there's never anything left when I get the chance to go!

Also, the cost of petrol is through the roof and costs about £20 to get there and back with then there's the cost of parking and everytime I go I have to have a burger king :o

I'm really bad at going shopping for myself and buying for the weans or OH, I always feel selfish when I spend on myself :p
