Today's confession is as followe -

30p on a roll (I know, one bare roll, I'm a disgrace - OS's could have whipped up a batch of 88 rolls for that!! :D)

64p on a tub of [STRIKE]vinegarey slop[/STRIKE] healthy living coleslaw

£1.00 on strawberry cream slices for me and the boss (well, it is Sunday!)

    £1.20 on bread

    Total spend for today £3.14!

I'm stopping myself spending on bottles of juice and loads of munchies so I don't have to come and confess my sin...this declaring spends challenge is sort of working!!

Yesterday I spent £1.24 (!!!) on bread, and today have spent £14ish on groceries.

Going to dig out my receipts as I have a good amount of maths to be getting along with....

Ok, I forgot about some other spends from yesterday....this post has the potential to be very dull.

£1.30 on two copies of the Record to get free Toy Story LEGO (Ebay calleth...)

I also went to the Next sale......did get some needed items though:

    Smart trousers for work £15
    Brolly £5
Purse £3 (Not needed, but very nice!)
Smart low-heeled black shoes £12 (Bargain due to my huge feet!)

My total spend in the Monsoon sale was £343.95 (I know, I know!) but yesterday I did return £275 of it, making a net spend of £68.95. On two tops.....very nice tops though! :o So, that's £68.95 in Monsoon and £35 in Next. Oof.

My current credit card balance is looking thusly:

    Balance £355.23 (Pre-Next spends)
    Refund £275
    ______________
    New balance £80.23
    Next spends £35
    ______________
    New balance £115.23

I'm taking the money for this out of my ISA today, so that will clear the credit card balance. New post to follow with current state of finances and assorted financial musings :D

Are you really sure you need all that 'work' stuff...seems to be like you're using any excuse to spend spend spend!! ;) :rotfl:

Although I have to say...I'm very jealous of you getting to go to the next sale!! :o

    On a slightly different note...

Where are you seeing the gems on FV? I couldn't send you one yesterday and OH said he couldn't send one back earlier....I used mine to see what it was supposed to do and it said it went into my gemstone collection but I don't have one showing on the collection page!

Current state of affairs Chez Fresian....

PAD account = £4 (Sorry Angelic!)
    Entertainment = £22.05
    Groceries = £18.09

I've got enough money to clear my credit card off, which is fab, but need to keep focussed on the rest of the debt.

    *confession alert*

I nearly bought an Xbox yesterday. I really want to have something to do in the evenings that is a little more interactive than sitting on FB all the time. I'm going to buy one, but have decided not to do it until I have sold some stuff on Ebay, making it "free". I'm going to put some Amazon vouchers towards it as well.

    On the subject of money....

    Debt £3219.53

    Savings £1426.11
    Total outstanding £1793.42

The debt has gone up by £100 this month, which I knew as I had bought clothes for new job, but it's annoying all the same.

There are 150 days until I turn 30, so I need to be putting £11.96 per day towards it

Blockbuster apparenty do pre owned stuff now (a bit like Game or Gamestation) and the stuff in there is alot cheaper becasue no-one thinks to go int there for their pre-owned stuff.

I don't know if any of the above is true but it might be worth a look if you're not wanting to buy a brand new one (especially as there's a small version coming out and a green one!)

I will absolutely admit that one of the tops from Monsoon is more "ooh I love it" than office wear :D

However, I live in ballet pumps and trousers from New Look I bought about five years ago. The new job is a promotion and I need to be a lot smarter than I am at the moment.

I have no idea, I'm just leaving it alone and assume that when it works someone on my friends list will let me know :rotfl:

Good work on clearing the Credit Card Miss F :T:T

I think you can get preowned Games consoles in HMV as well - sure I saw some last week when I went to buy myself Dance on Broadway for my Wii :)

PS Wii's are more fun and you can excercise at the same time :D
