PS Wii's are more fun and you can excercise at the same time :D
I hate the way the control system works for the Wii. It's fun for a little while, but I don't think that I would want to own one for myself to be honest.

I do go round to my best friends house at least once a fortnight for Mario :D

    Analysis of yesterdays Tesco shop:

Super Noodles £1.22 (for four packets) I know that they're revolting, but I love them :D Perfect snack for post-work lunch at the weekend.
    Onions £1
    Jam £0.99
Ham £0.50 [strike]£2.00[/strike] Posh crumbed stuff, a treat for todays lunch
    Herbs £0.46
    Bananas £1.06
    Apples £0.94
    Milk £1.25
    Chickpeas £1.08 (2 tins)
    Cheese £2.06 (2 packets) [strike]£8.20[/strike]
Doughballs £0.62 [strike]£2.50[/strike] May have gone overboard with this as there are 40 in the packet :rotfl:
    Sausages £0.39 [strike]£1.68[/strike]
Branston Pickle £1.13 Yeech. For Mr Fresian.
    Ham £1
Lady products :o £0.62 (Tesco own brand)
    Chicken goujons £0.50 [strike]£2.50[/strike]

The total cost of the shop was £14.92 and the whoopsies alone should have cost £16.88, so a pretty MSE adventure. Will have to remove the yellow stickers from the cheese as Mr Fresians sister (who still lives with us) is convinced that anything past its best before date is poison. I was even tempted once to fish a whole loaf out of the bin. There was nothing wrong with it. Oh the humanity!

I find myself getting quite peeved with having a flatmate at the moment. Things which p*ssed me off yesterday included....

    • The bin not being emptied. Fair enough, nobody likes doing it, but when there are two cartons of milk and some stuff you're throwing out from the freezer sitting on the floor it's time to man up and use a sodding binbag. The items defrosting on the floor were the final straw.
    • Only washing their dishes from dinner when I had done all their previous dishes while cooking my dinner last night. There were only three mugs in the sink and they were still left festering.
    • Creating the leaning tower of loo rolls in the bathroom bin
I'm not the cleanest person in the world or the tidiest, but she (and her sodding boyfriend who never leaves) seem to think it's ok that she hasn't hoovered or cleaned the bathroom since she moved in. I'm getting towards the end of a very long tether.....

And with the Monday joys upon me, it's time to get ready for work :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Perhaps you should start charging the bf rent too!! What does Mr Fresian say about the situation?

I agree with Primula, some ground rules are definitely the order of the day...

    Sx

I've just noticed the bit in your post that said SIL threw a whole loaf in the bin...was it her loaf to throw out? Had someone done that to my (overpriced) bread I think I would have hit the roof!!

On bus home. Waiting to see what house-sharing delights await me on my return. Been at work since quarter to nine so I'm flipping shattered!

NSD today due to having 44p in my purse and no further money in site! Roll on payday on Friday...

I'm now a smidge overdrawn, but only about £4 so it's ok....here's why!

Aaaaagggggeeeeesss ago, I found a deal on the Mycitydeal website which actually looked good. A restaurant called Sizzling Scot in Edinburgh (steakhouse kind of place) which I've always fancied going to but have been unsure because of cost - I don't want to pay £40-£50 for dinner if I don't know it's going to be good! The deal was that you pay £6 and get a voucher for £20 of food. I bought one for myself and one for Mr Fresian so tonight we went armed with our £40 vouchers and had a night out.

    We had:

1 massive burger with handcut chips and tasty onion rings (me)
1 massive steak with the same sides (Mr Fresian)
1 banoffee pudding (that would be me!)
1 coke (himself, I had water)

Total cost? £1.85 :D:D:D I did leave a £5 tip though, couldn't just pay £2 and leave!! Still, it was a lovely meal, we will definitely go back at full price sometime in the future and I will absolutely recommend it to others! I had to nip to the cashpoint and get £10 out (Hence being a few quid overdrawn) but will cover this when I get paid on Friday.

Other spends (from groceries account) are £7.01 on milk and loads of half price loo roll :rotfl:
