It's frozen through here as well FF and we have had some light snow again. The chuffing wellies haven't been off in weeks!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Evening folks,
It's been a busy day Chez Fresian....and the sodding snow is back :rotfl:
I've tidied the kitchen more than once and cleared away all the chaos I caused in the living room making cards (Some of them are on my blog if you want a look) I also braved the snow - loads of it again - to go to the supermarket.
I did do a good deed at WH Smith though...I had a voucher for £5 off a £20 spend and had been trying to decide what to buy. I need a new diary, but that's only going to cost £10, so didn't think I needed to buy anything else at all. I saw a guy standing with a load of toys looking quite harrassed so I gave the voucher to him. He looked really chuffed:A
The supermarket wasn't as busy as I thought it would be and I got a couple of good buys - milk is still 2 for £2 and I managed to find some reduced bread too. They also have 600g of Cathedral City cheese for £3 in Morrisons if anyone's needing any.
I have realised that I am slipping in terms of my MSE cookery skills so I'm trying to get back on the wagon. Prices are due to rise so I need to get back into frugal ways. Tonight we're having stew which I've bulked out with loads of veg. It still won't do two days though as Mr Fresian eats like a sodding horse!! I also bought a gammon shank for £1.59 which I'm going to boil up for soup tomorrow and then have gammon, egg and chips for tea tomorrow.
Tomorrow I'm not planning on going anywhere if it's still snowy. I may well start some cleaning/tidying instead. The fun never stops here

I assume this is for my benefit after my [STRIKE]moan[/STRIKE] query yesterday:rotfl:
They are lovely, I love looking at hand made cards
(probably because I have zero creative talent)

Money
PAD/Spends - £220
Entertainment - £50
Groceries - £170
ISA - £65.89
Virtual Sealed Pot - £45.05
Purse - £10
Not looking too shabby really. This is the money from being paid early. I have decided to start "January" now, which means there are 32 days until payday
On the plus side.....
We're well stocked in terms of food. We should only need about £10-£15 worth of shopping this week to see us through the Christmas period. I still need to figure out what to have for Christmas dinner though - I don't really want to pay £10-£15 for one lump of meat, but just having chicken isn't very excitingAll ideas gratefully received.
The ISA would have had more in it, but I had to raid it to cover the two S&G boxes I bought as they weren't budgeted forTotally worth it though, I have smelled amazing all week :rotfl: The tote bag that the set came in is also fabulous because it holds masses and masses of stuff - very useful when I went to the supermarket yesterday!

Shampoo is nice enough - it certainly smells gorgeous - but I don't think I would pay £5 for it.
Hope you didn't pay over the odds on Ebay for the bag?0 -
