Ohhh yesterday was weather hell! It took me an hour and 3/4 to get to work yesterday and I came very close to having to walk home (~4.5 miles ). We found out at lunchtime that the Lothian buses were suspended. Thankfully a lonely First bus appeared when I was starting to walk home (despite an announcement they had stopped running too!) so I managed to squeeze on that for the journey into the city centre (very slowly with skidding!) then walked home from town. Brrrrrrrrrr! :snow_grin

If its like that again I'm not going in! :( Skidding sideways on a double decker bus is not an experience I want to repeat!

Well I made it to work - and was frozen to the bone by the time I arrived :(

I have now repaid the last of my credit card - I was waiting for confirmation from Flybe that they had refunded my flight for last week before I paid the rest of it off. That's it now done with, hurrah!

I have been to the bank and paid in the £25 cheque that's been cluttering up my wallet, along with £10 in coins, although most of the cheque has gone to the final credit card payment - bah. Still, not even the merest hint of debt, so I'm happy.

I have spent £1.99 on facewipes today and £1.90 on tea and a scone (Essential) That will leave me a little bit of change to go into tonight's Sealed Pot too.

    Keep warm everyone. :snow_grin

It sounds just awful for you guys.

It started to thaw here yesterday. It's only slow, but better than nothing.

Hope it happens soon for you all. x
