Evening all

I really hope that I don't lose this post as the forums have been wicked-slow tonight.

I'm safely in Manchester, although sadly it appears as though my laptop may have died. I am going to diagnose tomorrow when I get home, but the battery has been goosed for a while and now it seems to be having issues connecting to the internet wirelessly. Hopefully that's a glitch to do with the hotel internet. Thankfully the hotel is pretty nice and has Macs in the rooms for internet-addicts like me to use

Spends today have been small - mostly covered by expenses. I did have a couple of cocktails after work with someone from the office though and they were lush. Strawberry daquaris....om nom nom! I managed to send Pickle a PM finally so hopefully we'll manage to meet up tomorrow, which will be very MSE as it will keep me away from Primark in my lunchbreak!! Pickle...I have my privacy settings set to stun on Facebook which will be why you couldn't find me. If you're friends with Angelic or Hypno or Beanie you'll find me through them, otherwise PM me your details and I'll add you if I can. It's all so technical!!

Off to bed now as I've been up since quarter to sodding six. Nighty night all!

Morning F_F, what make is your laptop, I remeber you buying one and it cant be that long ago? My HP died and people are going after the shops under sale of goods act as HP know they have a motherboard fault (half the range was recalled). Hope you get it sorted.

My laptop is a Dell. It's purple

I haven't had it for that long (just over a year) but don't think they will replace it for the battery issue. Swines!

Hopefully it's not terminal yet as I can't replace it at the moment....

I have to just share this....

The hotel I'm staying in is in the city centre and quite busy. If you eat breakfast at this time of day there's often a queue. The woman in front of me started having a go at the wee waitress because she had to wait. She even refused to wait in the lounge and is currently at the front of the queue trying to outstare the waitress. I have done my time in hotels....something nasty will end up in her coffee
