Regular readers will remember my ill-fated attempt to live on £8000 this year. I think that this failed round about June :D

I'm going to try for £9,000 next year. This is excluding my mortgage but so far includes....

    Council tax
    Gas/electric
    Home insurance
    Tellybox and interpipes
    TV Licence
Mobiles for me and Mr Fresian
    Bus pass
    Christmas/birthday spending
    Union dues
Repayment to Mama Fresian for my student overdraft
    Entertainment
    Food

Does anyone have any immediate ideas about what I've forgotten?

Thank you kindly :D Best go and find my shoes...

Paw and Brother are going to the rugby later (where I'm sure Scotland will be beaten by whomever we're playing)

Its been a long day so far here - pipers and hangovers do NOT go well. Add vuvuzelas (sp????) into the mix too... *sob* :doh:I'm glad the match is underway... its far quieter! We even seem to be winning at half time! :rotfl:

    What about...
    Haircuts,
    Prescription costs,
    Dentist costs,
    Toiletries,
    Charity,
    Clothes & shoes,
    Exercise,
    Holidays / Travel,
Accidental (everything else you forgot to add! :p)

Can you guess I've been trying to set a budget for next year too!:rotfl: I think I need to win the lottery to make it balance! :rotfl:

    Haircuts, Would come under "other"
Prescription costs, Ditto, I'm pretty healthy
Dentist costs, I pay for this out of my salary
Toiletries, Included under "food" as this covers all household bits & pieces
    Charity, Begins at home :o:o:o
Clothes & shoes, Oops, shall add to the sheet
    Exercise, I don't really :o:o:o
Holidays / Travel, Hmmm....good point, although I will probably PAD towards this out of my excess funds

Does Scraps figure in next years plans????? If so you'll need tax and insurance and an MOT and fuel and parking and breakdowns and breakdown cover and a fluffy dice fund.
