I think it'll be gratefully received! How about those little powdery oil blotting sheets for taking away shine... this is what I mean! My Mum swears by them! You used to be able to get a pack for a couple of pounds from La Senza, don't know if they still sell them though.

I quite fancy the idea of providing flip flops, but only if I can find a lot of them for next to nothing!

apparently you can get the blotting paper in the body shop for a couple of pounds!

our schools finish up friday for school hoildays at 1pm so may just take my daughter a shopping trip

They have 2 pairs of flips flops in Primark for £1.50.

Flip flops 79p each or 2 for £1 in B&M. I love the idea, there's always going to be something that you need that no-one remembered to bring, or you're not going to want to go around asking everyone if they have one with them. Plus like hunnycat said, no-one's going to want to carry around a huge handbag around with all of the little bits in so having them in a communal area is good forward thinking
