Tesco £9 finest meal deal for £6.50 if you buy 6!!!!

On-line is showing an updated meal deal but with no wine in the offer, only soft drinks. Seems to still accept two mains though. Have not checked in store. Don't think it's worth it without the wine included. I wouldn't want to drink coke with a meal anyway! Has anyone checked in store?

Different stores seem to have different food and wine selections for this deal. There are certainly several wines included - Wairu Cove is there and Hardys and a really odd name that I can't remember. Mains include braised steak, chicken chasseur, chicken with onions & cheese, meatballs anf fish pie. Puddings were only chocolate cheesecake and tarte au citron in my local this morning. The 2 mains glitch is still working and the 25% comes off the wine if you get 6.

Happens when I try to add more than 3 different desserts or mains.
Only 1 wine in it for us - chardonnay or coke!

Hiya,

Given all of the talk about them fixing the system, tried this experimentally today on one meal deal just to see if the 2 mains instead of a side was working and it was (kingston park tesco, newcastle). Got a 9.99 savignon blanc, a meatballs, a chicken chasseur and a cherry desert - £9. All of the steak diane meals had gone, other than that, plenty on the shelves. Can't remember now whether the 25% off wine is still on, but given I would pay a fiver for the wine anyway £4 for two mains and a dessert is good enough. Most of the stuff seems to freeze, so might try tomorrow on the 6x version, although I would fancy going through the self service tills. Sal xx

When I ordered on Tuesday the discount came off online as I put it in the basket..when I tried last night witht he new selection no discount showed up (although the meal deal info was on the page) is this happening for eveyone now, or have I slipped back onto the old site somehow?

The wine offer doesn't seem to be on so there appears to be no reason to buy 6 of them any more.
