Moral Dilemma -Should I give them the money?

maybe you are in a new candid camera show... smile, they are following and filming youuu......*_*_* Department of Redundancy Department *_*_*0

Ring them up ask them if there's a problem with taking the money. They may as others have said be wondering where the money went, or which transaction didn't go through properly.
Just make an effort to pay as after all the other alternative is that you may get stopped by the old bill in an APNR spot check when the car comes back as not your property, not what you really want at the start of your driving career. Plus if the car is still registered to the dealers your insurance may be invalid if you told the insurance co you were the owner / keeper.0 -
I thought that you said it was a moral dilemma, I've not seen any sign of you actually having any morals.0

If they lost that authorisation code and contact me so I have to give it to them?
What are my rights? What are theirs?
Judging from the above questions its not so much advice as the legal help that you are looking for to assist you in witholding payment for the car. If that's what you want to do then do it, but there's no point in sugar coating your actions under the guise of a 'moral dilemma'."I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant." :huh:0 -

Another angle:
Perhaps the dealership could report the vehicle as stolen if you don't sort out the money.0 -
I don't get it .......you admit that if anyone did this to your family you'd go bananas yet you are wonering if you can get away with with not paying - and this is after, by your own omission, did you a favour.
