Probably wasting my time but I'll try again...
Sky WILL replace it free if you go to cancellations.

I'm on a £5 a month for 4 months........ sport , entertainment , and discovery etc, and that's after a 75p a month for 3 months, so as I say djohn, your not wasting your time , I really appreciate what you're saying but I suspect they would say "OK cancel you tight !!!!!! !"
Perhaps I will give it a go tomorrow, I've just come off the phone speaking to Sky after waiting ages, and the best they could do was a half price service call at £37.50.

But see, you did get a better deal by trying, but i suspect you're right really after what you've already screwed them for.
Get and pay the £37.50 you tightar$e. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Only joking really....
  • djohn2002uk, if it's going through the motions of searching for listings you're doing something right. Out of interest, when you went through the manual tuning menu, did the signal strength and quality return to normal? If so, I reckon it's worth repeating the process a few times. Like I said my box does this every few weeks (exceptionally annoying). I was also told to replace the box which I did through Sky (they cap their charge at £65 for the box and the "labour" and it's insured for 6 months). After the six months the new one started doing the same and here I am about a year later.
