Oh Shel, mine's only away for a month in the US and I feel lost, I can't begin to imagine how you feel, but you have my condolences. Not much more I can add to what everyone else has said, but I'll happily listen to rants if you need to.

Shel - like everyone else, I am so sorry and was totally stunned to read your post.
It puts all our 'little' problems into perspective.
Stay strong and I hope you have people at home to help you through this awful time.
Although we are all internet persona's, I am sure everyone of the MSE wedding forum girls would do anything they could to help if you needed it.

Massive hugs for you and I hope you're coping OK. Have you sent the wedding stuff off to someone else's house now so you don't have to see it until you're ready to sort through it all? Don't feel too bad about your friends not being in touch that much, they probably have no idea what to say and how to act, when all you want is for them to be normal around you! It's awkward and upsetting for everyone. Maybe if you ask them to take you out shopping or to see a film or something they'll come? It'll give you something else to focus on as a group and hopefully it'll take your mind off things, even for a couple of hours.
