I know! But I'm getting impatient and want to get the account closed asap!:rotfl:
I will defiantely enjoy myself with my bro, I don't go out often so it shouldn't take too much alcohol to get me plastered! Only problem is I'm supposed to be working 6am the next morning!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Ouch to the 6am start! These days I only see that time if the pain in my ankle has kept me up all night!
Here's hoping the cheque clears promptly then! :TDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Blummin' cheque still hasn't cleared! (1 week today) and still nothing from Bank of Scotland.
Hurry up will you!
I dragged myself into town today, I hate going  . I paid this months water bill, so I am now up-to-date. And I popped into Waterstones with the intention of putting my free points voucher onto my Waterstones card.
Of course I headed straight for the HP stand and picked up No. 6, but in the end I bought another book that was £1 cheaper, 'Cannibals and Evil Cult Killers'. So nice light bedtime reading for me :rotfl:
I posted a small parcel aswell, only 70p, then ran out of town back to my car.
I popped to the fish shop to get a refund on a faulty pump, and as she would only give me store credit I got 6 new fishes (Lemon Tetra) and some wiggly live bloodworm. I still had £1.19 left and I was happy for her to write me a credit note for this for my next trip, but she said they don't usually give that small amount of credit so gave it to me in change. I got a £1 coin, two 2ps and three 5ps. These will all go into my pots!
I realised that while I have enough food in the house for my dinners for the rest of the month, I neglected lunches and cereal for work! So I nipped into Sainsbug and got some bread, eggs, and Weetabix. I also couldn't resist a bottle of red, I will curl up in bed tonight with that and my new book.
So total spend today of £42.12.
£28.05 was budgeted (water bill)
£6.38 will come out of my grocery budget
And £7.69 will come out of Moozies weekly challenge budget. (£6.99 for the book, 70p for postage).
Sig duly amended.

Thanks
Feeling really good right now, slowly but surely it is dropping! The best part was being able to delete the 'Bank of Scotland payment' row from my Excel budget spreadsheet!!
Plus I now have an extra £44.19 a month that I can put towards the credit card.
In other news: One of my two tomato plants is flowering, so hopefully tomatoes will soon follow!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Congratulations!
Each 44.19 paid off the card saves you 0.96 every month, about 20 in interest saved after six months of doing it.0 -

Even better!
I am going to try to at least get £1000 paid off it by Xmas, I can pay my food budget onto it, plus my water bill money, the £44.19 and the £50 payment that was going to it anyway. So thats £205 a month I can put towards it, and hopefully any extra.
Thou I will be using it to pay the water bill and for food, so hopefully I can bring the food bill down (maybe challenge myself to £10 a week?) so there is lots going on and little going out.
Also, as November is a 5 friday month, I will get 5 wage packets. I only need 4 for all my bills so the whole weeks wages can go on this too!
I just need to eat as little as possible, not spend too much on beer when my bro is down, and not spend too much when I go up for his birthday. (He'll also want a birthday present too!)Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Ok I'm getting a little wary now, too many good things are happening at once. Something bad is surely around the corner!
Weighted myself today, and I've dropped another 3.2 lbs! Only 6lbs to go and I'll be 16 stone! I wanted to reach this before 10th Sept (in time for my weeks leave from work) so this looks achievable!
I logged onto my adsense account linked to my blog (not updated in forever) yesterday and I have made $29.13 (£14.70)! Not bad for something that is just left to its own devices! I can't cash it in until it makes $100, but every click on the adlinks earns me pennies!
I've added up my penny pots too, and I have a grand total of £9.88 saved. £1.84 in 1ps, £2.94 in 2ps, and £5.10 in 5ps. And 11 euro cents (?!?!)
My best friend is back from her holiday in Manchester tomorrow, we usually chat online everyday (even though she lives 10 minutes from me) and as she's not got internet connection up there it's been weird as there has been complete silence! I've missed her alot.
Spendaholics on tonight, so I will glance at it while getting ready for work, and tape it to watch properly when I get home in the morning, my wages should have gone in by then! I was 8 hours down last week as they messed up my hours, so I should get 56 hours this week
