Barclaycard credit increase

Has anyone applied for a credit increase for their Barclaycard after a few months? I've had mine since april, but want an increase from £1600 to £2000.

Ok, I am now more serious about upping my limit with Barclaycard cos I have just closed a Morgan Stanley Card account and want to close one more soon, but want a higher limit on this card before I close the other one.

Can anybody confirm that you dont get a credit search when requesting an increase in limit.
