  • Survey 185585‏ - I finished watching all the long video clips about Call of Duty (and I could see from the clock on the top that I was approaching the end of the survey) and finished the final part which was about new game consoles - then was asked where I live (my postcode), how many children do I live with, my age and MY ETHNICITY (which is Asian) only to be told that I wasn't eligible - That was complete bullsh*t and offensive to know that being Asian had my disqualified.

They do it all the time for anything! Personally I think they're sneaky. Possibly collecting data even when your "screened out" as they always ask several questions BEFORE being screened out and we are not being paid a penny! I think other survey sites are better in they way they screen out much sooner and at least you are paid a small amount of points/money for your trouble. Valued opinions always seem to ask quite in detail information about a product/service etc ... then screen you out.!!! Suppose it's an unethical way of keeping their profits up and costs down whilst still collecting data.

I was just wondering as no one had mentioned it, I'm a little concerned as working nights and only seen one or two ads on some days ... just thinking they might not pay me at the end of it.

  • I've been doing surveys regularly for Valued Opinions since October 2012 and not claimed any rewards yet. Just noticed today that they've stopped sending me invites.. so just tried to log into my account and it's telling me it doesn't exist!! Has anyone else experienced this? I've emailed them to ask what's going on but I've got a bad feeling about this...

They have a bit of a habit of accidentally/wrongfully suspending accounts, and usually reactivate it without issue if there's been no violation of terms, so wouldn't worry just yet.

It does leave me repeating again the adage of DON'T leave rewards to accumulate in any survey site accounts - as soon as it's payable, withdraw. It's not yours till it's in your hands.
  • Thank you! Just read back a bit through this thread (should have done that before posting) and noticed some people have been "banned" for various reasons/nonreasons. I always respond honestly and as accurately as possible to questions so hope it's nothing like that. But yes will wait and see what they say before getting annoyed. :)

And yeah I will start withdrawing regularly from now on. To be honest might just claim rewards and leave altogether as, like some other on this thread, have noticed VO like to take you through pages and pages of certain surveys before screening you out, and have also suspected it's just their way of getting your opinion without paying up. It's extremely irritating and I don't seem to have that problem with other survey sites (Global Test Market and MySurvey are two of the best I have found).

I completed the newspaper diary for March 2013. Not been paid the reward. Has Valued Opinions paid the £7.50 into anyone else's account or are they taking ages paying everyone?

I've now received the payment for this.
