Looks as though your problem with the voucher is because it is a Tesco voucher.

I ordered an M&S one on 3 Jan and it arrived towards the end of January.

What about asking them to send you a different voucher if there is a problem with their supplier?

Thanks I will try that next time cos am still waiting for the november and january vouchers.

I always take Amazon ones from VO as they are instant, unlike Toluna who take 12 weeks or more to provide them.
  • i always go for amazon voucher too- much more reliable.

Did anyone get accepted for the survey on internet use which ended (after a ton of questions) with a request for the user to download some internet use tracking software (PanelApp)?

I thought I was to be paid £2 for the initial survey and then £3 after 6 months with more well paid surveys inbetween (that is what it seemed to be saying). The software was stated as "will not affect your computer", but I have a pretty old PC (1Ghz processor) and the application was using more than 50% of my processing power whilst I was online! This naturally was slowing things down so badly I could barely use the internet at all and ended up with me having to "kill" the process several days in a row.

I checked my pending credits on the VO website and I only had 0.01p pending for this survey so I contacted them about this and mentioned the problem with the application. They kindly informed me that the £2 would not be paid until after 3 months use of the application. All they said about the application was "If it is causing a problem uninstall it". I am not happy about putting all that effort in for nothing.

Valued Opinions seem to be taking longer and longer to move money from pending to credit and the amount paid for time spent on surveys seems to be dropping. If things don't improve I may resign after accumulating my next £10, which is a shame as they used to be one of the best survey panels (not to mention the instant Amazon vouchers!). :(

I also did the initial survey for £2 but opted not to download the software. Dubious about installing software for surveys and considered that £3 payment far too little to have extra software on PC.

Agree that pending credits take a while to be credited, however I ordered 2 £10 Tesco giftcards and they arrived within a couple of weeks.

Quite near to ordering another voucher.
  • I ordered a Tesco voucher yesterday - hopefully on track for a £10 voucher per month this year.

Have you checked to see whether the £2 is pending on your account? My contact with them would seem to suggest that the £2 is only paid if you install the software, and even then only after 3 months! I thought that the initial survey would be paid at £2 regardless of the software installation but they seem to be saying otherwise now.

The £2 doesn't show separately as pending, however several points have moved from pending to 'paid'. The £2 could have gone to 'paid' without having appeared in pending, or, as you say, it may not be added to account because I chose not to install the software.
