How much would the interest be if they charged it on the £800 Adam?

    £20 maybe, I don't know.

I'm thinking about leaving at 3 from work then I'll be home by 8 so not too bad. It's annoying that I've got to do about an hour and a half walking in between stuff as that really adds to the time, actual cleaning is only 3 and a half hours!

Yep, think leaving early is definitely the best bet cause I've got stuff I need to catch up on at home cause I went to a friend's for dinner last night so did nothing, which was lovely! :D

    Worked it out.

    Closing balance was £744.81
    Interest is 1.941 per month

Should be £14.45 interest to be paid on the 18th if I'm right in my assumption that I'm charged interest on the closing balance of the previous statement. I don't know, if it's a daily calculation then it should be smaller as I cleared the £704.81 on the 28th September and £40 on the 4th October.

Just been staring at my spreadsheets - again!

Show's that maybe looking at them too much is maybe not a good thing as you stop seeing what you're looking at (I was missing one important mistake) but then again if you keep looking, you end up noticing it (as I just have!)

I've been calculating my budget and payments wrong as I budgeted £50 a month to pay my Mum back when this doesn't actually come out my budget as I pay her the £50 a month by working for her if that makes sense?

Anyhoo, that means an adjusted spreadsheet and than means my DFD is now Feb 2013!!! :T

They told me on the phone that it was calculated daily, which is why they couldn't give me a final balance at the time as they would end up with a couple of extra days before the payment was applied.

No other CC company seems to have this problem and does seem a cheek when the reason there's a couple of extra days is because they take so long to apply the payment in the first place...but then again, were we thinking the banks were fair?! :rotfl:

Just taken the puppy from my office and a couple of other dogs from our corridor for a walk - wow, are puppies hard work!

It nearly tripped me up several times and then kept trying to tread in the poo I was trying to pick up, lovely! :D

Well done on reducing your debt free date again :)

Do you get paid to walk the dogs? Why are they at the office?

Wish I had got paid! :D

Just did it for a break from the office while the dog owners were in a meeting.

I know it sounds weird for most workplaces, but its quite normal for dogs to come into work where I am. I used to bring mine in a lot. Think there are over 40 dogs in my building at last count!
