Cool, thanks, just wanted to check as they did the same to me, and I've never had that before when I've cleared a card.

What did the final interest come to?

It came to 44.99 - not sure that sounds right to be honest, it's only £5 less than normal.

You'll have to let us know what it comes to and if you think it's right.

They make it so complicated to try and work out what they've done.

I just thought it would be a lot less than only by £5. I guess maybe I didn't pay it off soon enough in the month when my statement is produced on the 13th, but then my direct debit isn't till the 27th, so I paid well in advance of that.

    Who knows?! :(

Just thought - does that mean they're going to try and charge me interest on that balance as well??????

Probably, I wouldn't put it past them! Can you ring and query it with them?

yeah I'll let you know - I paid off like £800 lump, so hoping they're not going to charge me interest on the £800. I'm going to see how they calculate the interest.

Two cleaning jobs to get to tonight so may have to leave it till tomorrow, but will def ring them them to get that paid, ask how they've calculated that and check if they have any sneaky plans on further interest!

How much would the interest be if they charged it on the £800 Adam?
