Thorpe Park, wicked! I haven't been there for years. Are you gonna go on Saw?

I hope the weather is nice for you x

I'm hoping I'll be brave enough to go on everything!

I used to be really terrified and really had to build myself up to go on these things - I'm hoping now I've bungee jumped that was good training and I'll be less scared! :D

Thanks, fingers crossed for the weather, it's bright sunshine today so hopefully that will continue!

It's blue sky and sunshine here as well.

I cried on Oblivion at Alton Towers last year, what a wuss! I love all big rides apart from this one, I don't think I can handle the hanging over the top bit and the suspense of waiting to fall. We queued for about 2 hours to go on it and I only did it as it was my best friends 30th birthday!

I made her buy the photo as that's the last time I will ever go on that ride again!

I did a bungee jump when I was 18, I would be way too chicken now lol!

I think that would scare me too much as well! I will never go on the one that goes straight up and then drops straight down (detonator?) as I don't trust it to stop and not just go straight through the floor! :rotfl:

    Where did you bungee?

I did it back in Nov during the week I spent up in Vic Falls, I did the gorge swing as well. Must admit though I did have a fair few beers before and after :D

The gorge swing I did with a hangover and I don't recommend that! I bought a DVD of me doing it and I look grey!

In a pub car park lol, so when you jump your headed straight for the concrete, nice!

Worse than that though I think is the ball that fires you up into the air, like a reverse bungee. That was the longest 2 minutes of my life!

The reverse thing sounds terrifying - just thinking about it just made my stomach flip!

£22.68 cashback from my hotel stay back in August finally confirmed so I have requested it.

Hopefully will be in my account by the end of the week, and then will be straight on it's way to the loan :)

  • I haven't been to Thorpe Park, I'll have to put it on my list. I won't be putting a bungee jump on though! Have a great day out. :)

Sorry I am so late Becs but I hope you have a fab time today, looks like the weather is good for you too :).

I used to love big theme parks and actually went to Alton Towers for my honeymoon but now I am quite terrified :o. Great news on the hotel cashback as well
