Think it's because you would stop treating it as AER if you're not using the OD and it would be APR instead.....?

They don't like to make it easy do they!!! :D

Nope they make it as confusing as possible!

I will definitely re-look at it when I start paying it back (with the help of you guys again!).

Hi beccie, I thought I would check out your diary as you've been supporting me. I feel a bit of a fraud as everybody else has significantly bigger debts to shift, its just that its not the first time for me so I should have learnt my lesson!

I will have to catch up with your diary, it's nice to know all the background. It will be a struggle when I'm at work to keep up to date, so much happens but I will suscribe and check in to see how you are getting on.

Your trips to Africa sound wonderful, as does your boyfriend! I'm feeling a bit better this afternoon and might go for a little walk in the sun. Might even brave Absurd & Ludicrous/Scamtander again and get the information first direct need to transfer DDs. I'll read more later!

Didn't have time in the end as I had to go and get my boss a birthday card.

Am off to a cleaning job tonight but should just have time to swing past Lloyds and say hi, I bet they've been missing me! :D

Hi Rum and thanks for stopping by!

The trips were amazing, and so is the boyfriend depending which day you ask me! :rotfl:

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better.

Could you not just cancel all DDs and then ring the companies and set up new ones?

Will be time consuming but might be better than faffing around with the banks!

I have been having a little chuckle to myself imagining you both popping into LLoyds with your £1 and £1.50.
I bet the staff there are going to love you.

And do you know what they will wonder where you are if you don't turn up one day.
(I used to work in a similar place and we had our 'regulars')

    Great Minds!

Already have! Don't really know why I waited so long in the first place! I think it is because First Direct were trying so hard (not a concept I am used to yet)! Suprisingly, the only DD that was difficult to ammend was the santander credit card, in the end I decided not to bother and have set up a standing order. So we are just about ready now to wave goodby to A & L...

Spoke to soon about feeling better, too much talking on the phone hasn't been good for my throat!

Right, after much staring at my spreadsheets I have decided on my next goals :)

To save £1,400 by Aug 2011 to pay the Santander OD when the 0% runs out (this one will be hard as I will have to resist taking my savings out to pay other stuff off!)

I checked my loan this morning and by having paid that £600 straight back the loan term had already reduced from 4 years to 3 years 11 months. My next goal is to knock this term down to 3 years by the time I go to Borneo in Feb 2011.

    Wish me luck! :D
