I think there must be so many people in our situation who haven't had their LBM, who look like their earning a good wage and have their lives sorted, when the reality is they are probably partying on their credit cards!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Mine is quite the opposite. I earn a very good wage but don't party because of the debt. I'm too ashamed to admit it to my friends (my OH knows about it), and they never understand why I'm never out spending the cash like them and always saying I don't have the money to do things with them. It's a difficult balance, but hopefully next year I can join in on my own money, not that which I have borrowedAdam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

Exactly Woo, think it's nice to remember that sometimes, and imagine what it will be like when all our money is not tied up in paying back debts!
Just called Lloyds - girl on the phone said it's only possible to set up an extra standing order not make payments as and when online. She said if you could be bothered you could keep changing this standing order but there was no other way of doing it.
Have set up a standing order for £1 to go out tomorrow just to test but will also go into pay my £1 later and ask at the counter as well.
Wow, they like to keep things complicated!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I think their motivation is to make it as difficult as possible to overpay. They don't realise what a dedicated lot we are though, and they better get used to regular visits from you!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I know exactly what you mean Beccie, you probably didn't see my post on FB about it, it was something along the lines of 'behind every person with the perfect life is normally a huge pile of debt'. My eyes have been opened so much recently, lots of people who lived thier lives giving the impression that they were rolling in it - actually aren't and are now having to face up to it.
It's sad really but I count myself as one of the lucky ones as it could have been much worse before I realised my problem!
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

All of my friends know my situation, they are very understanding but not really interested. Which is why this site is great, I can just bore you lot with the details!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

My friends know my situation too and are always impressed when I tell them overall amounts I have paid off, and understand why I can't go out a lot and stuff, but they really don't want all the minute details!
That's why I need you guys as you're the ones who get excited for me when I pay off a £1!
I think that's why being on here is such great motivation because we all have the same strange ways of thinkingDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

Just called Lloyds Loan people (0800 0921 290) and spoke with Liam, to confirm the sort-code and account number you need to do this with is 77-77-90 90000468 and then in the reference you add your own Lloyds TSB Loan reference number. Set this up within 'make a payment' - you have to actually make a payment for the details to save. Once they're saved you can then use them again to make more payments.
I'd give them a call one more time, ask if it's possible, when they say no, ask them about this sort code and account number that you can make a payment to and why it wont work for you.

Sounds like a typical conversation with Lloyds, one person say's one thing, while another says different! Bunch of muppets!
I would call again like Adam's says.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
