Cheerleading squad would be nice! :rotfl:

Its about 3 months away as I go a couple of weeks into Feb or to be precise 126 days away! :D

It was about 2 1/2 years ago that I put my name down - maybe that's where you got confused from?

Can't believe how long the wait was! That's why I decided to take them up on those dates, if I had waited till the next space they estimated sometime in 2013.

Right, after much staring at my spreadsheets I have decided on my next goals :)

To save £1,400 by Aug 2011 to pay the Santander OD when the 0% runs out (this one will be hard as I will have to resist taking my savings out to pay other stuff off!)

I checked my loan this morning and by having paid that £600 straight back the loan term had already reduced from 4 years to 3 years 11 months. My next goal is to knock this term down to 3 years by the time I go to Borneo in Feb 2011.

    Wish me luck! :D

How do you know your new loan term? Does it show you online? Did you ever manage to set up the transfer?

Nope, Lloyds would never do anything so helpful as to show it online! :rotfl:

You can use the minimum repayments calculator to work it out.

Wonder if maybe it does change online at some point though - or they send you a letter - guess it might have to if you keep knocking months off?

Forgot this one - I did go in and it's changed. You can no longer overpay online, he tried it on his and it didn't work. So just in branch or online via standing order.

Have you tried overpaying yours to see if it still works?

I sent in £10 on Wednesday online, so I will let you know if it comes off the balance next week - I hope it does as it would be a lot easier doing it online than walking to the bank to make over payments!!

The standing order thing works - I have set one up to come out annually so that if I forget to change it, it won't surprise me next month!

Then I just have to go in and change the amount and date accordingly - not quite as straight forward as a normal payment but not too bad.

Will still go visit them too though methinks :D

Off to Thorpe Park tomorrow with some people I used to work with. We had two free tickets and one buy one get one free so we only have to pay for one, split 4 ways and we're taking lunch so an MSE day.

Will be nice to go out! :)
