Recovery must have foundations in the private sector, esp in employment levels.
From 4/11, NI employee threshold will rise.
Britain is 'Open for business'. 28% Corporation tax will be cut 1% a year to 24% by 2015 to make it one of the lowest in the world. Going to accept proposals from James Dyson on R&D (no idea). Corp Tax for foreign cos to be cut. Other stuff too that I don't understand as too technical.

Housing benefit:
Some receive £104,000pa in HB. Equals 16 peoples' tax.
Will restrict levels payable, limit size of home, limit amt payable to a family. Tough if you live in an expensive area! More money for people who need a room for a carer.
£11,000,000,000 off the welfare bill.

No tax relief for video games ind. CGT tapering will be shallower. Annual investment allowance to be cut. "Manufacturing as a whole will pay less tax". Changes in allowances will be delayed until 4/120

Crisis started in the banking sector.
Banks should make a more appropriate cnotribution
'Financial activities tax' being discussed internationally (tax on profit and bankers incomes)
New levy to be put on bigger banks to raise £2,000,000,000pa. UK is doing this with France & Germany, not waiting for other countries to sign up.0 -

Hope to bring forward investment in Green investment and will abolish the land line tax (?) and will take some money from the TV licence(?) to pay for broadband.0
