Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Do you realise how much a weekly/monthly publication would cost? How would it pay for itself without the use of adverts? Both of these are things Martin actively avoids i.e. his policies include 'free to use' and 'free of adverts'
By the time such a periodic publication is read, many of the deals (e.g. those contained in the weekly email) would have expired, sold out or been withdrawn."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

You obviously have access to a computer, so why would you buy such a magazine? As premier says, apart from all the cost implications, the information would largely be out of date compared with what you're reading on this website.
There already is an unbiased consumer magazine out there - it's called Which?, and is a fantastically useful adjunct to MSE.
So no, I don't think it's a good idea!0 -
shame i do see your point, was just a thought,if cheap enouf to make then maybe it would, because of the amount of people out there, very true about offers that would be expired by then,i used to by a mag and never had the chance to receive the offers, just one of my mad ideas that poped into my head,i show and tell everyone i see about this site,im sure there fed up hearing me yak on,thankyou for clearing me head init xxxbuzzyy0
