LloydsTSB "My Offers"

Hi all,
Silly question - I've managed to have some dodgy mark removed from my account that was on there in error, and now have the 'my offers' section showing up.
it lists the platinum credit card under there, with some generic sales line ("Get your finances in shape with 0% on balance transfers for 12 months. 15.9% APR typical variable. 3% fee applies") but no specific limit etc - is this a pre-approval/super-approval, or just random marketing?
I've nothing adverse but my history is limited, just for the record (i.e. all good, but nothing pre-2010 shows up - although have had my Lloyds account for 10-11 years with a reasonable size OD)

I take it this is in your online profile ?? Would imagine it not to be a Guar. Offer and just something that is made aware to all/many customers...0

yeah once logged in. I thought LTSB did super-approvals on internal data but due to the 'clerical error' I've never seen one. my file's a little thin still so if it's not guaranteed on internal data I'll leave it be for a bit longer.
it was the fact the section is titled 'my offers' that made me think it might be. Does anyone know what a 'real' super-approval/internal approval/pre-approval looks like? (i.e. does it say in big flashing lights "click here for your guaranteed card"?)0 -

What's this "dodgy mark" you speak of?I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
Halifax offers me a credit card every time I log in.
I'd be very surprised if it wasn't "subject to status" e.g. a credit check on application.
But then, I've been surprised before

What happens if you click on the "More info" button?
I get this:
Which I guess means I am kind of pre-approved, but not guarenteed, ie they will want to run a credit check. You may be eligible to receive the following credit limit on a Lloyds TSB Credit Card: £5,250.00Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
All I ever get offered is an e-savings account (Why would I want one of those when my Plus account pays me 2.5%?!?) and an offer of £30 off car insurance. Whoop de bloody do!!! :rotfl:I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. yeah same, but 'only' 3k. just wish I knew what they'd credit check for - if it's to make sure there's nothing bad I'm fine, but if it's to look for a brimming history of credit accounts it's not...
second ridiculous comment - are all the lloyds cards as difficult as each other to get? prefer the look of the duo if I go for it...0 -

Apparently I was marked as being a 'collections customer' (not sure if this is the CPD marker, but sounds like it may be). Both collections departments couldn't explain it beign there so after a couple of weeks I badgered telephone banking and the branch between them in to removing it (I think tele banking confirmed the info, then told the branch who removed it)0 -

Was your account ever in the collections system?I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0
