elvis- his dad says this all the time.

Yes my son knows what she is like but she is stunning and he is smitten- I'm just ready here to pick up pieces, but bothered about little boy as well, my son is also attached and bnever goes out etc. Little boy calls me Nana, and would love to be, and if I thought it would last then.. Scared to get attached.

I don't think they claim much, but she is attacking every time I try to ask if I can help- but winges when she cannot go out spending.

We paid for him to drive when he was 17, paid all the extortionate insurance to get a reasonable rate. My parents bought him a car. Now he cannot afford to run it. It's stuck on my driveway off the road.

If she's the type of person that sees children as a source of secure income, then you'll find that she's extremely fertile...

I have a friend in the same circumstances, or she was, the girl involved was just like her, a spoiled brat,

Try and keep your councell and it will very likey run its course, your lad will see through her shortly. Just give it time.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

the advice I would give is to to discourage your son from having his OWN child with this girl...because then she really WILL have a hold over him.

Worst nightmare, but if I interfere then yes am the bad person.

    Hard to just sit back...

At least you've all confirmed that our fears are valid..

The other thing is- sh cannot be even claiming ema, as she only makes a token gesture of going to college- Grrrrr. See her about all the time when she should be in college!

So my son is basically supplementing her education when she messed up- he hated school also but at least he completed it and has done good (with a lot of blood sweat and tears on my part).

If thay are a couple and the father of the child is not paying, doeas that make them a couple with a dependant?

Wouldn't worry too much about EMA.

Education Maintenance Allowance is currently being reviewed by the new government and is subject to change. Please wait for further announcements.

No problem with that, as know my son is not claiming anything- not sure what she doing though- my son just does what me and his dad always did- be the breadwinner and pay for your home.

Just wish A would come back here but cannot make him.
